If I had a pet and could make it understand one thing, it would be: “I will always take care of you, and you are safe with me.”

That way, the pet would never feel fear, anxiety, or confusion about my actions, whether it’s a vet visit, a new environment, or being left alone for a while. It would always trust that I have its best interests at heart.
