Second Eye Offering:
When the other eye of the lingam started bleeding too, Kannappa prepared to offer his second eye as well, but Shiva, moved by his devotion, appeared and restored his sight, granting him liberation.
Unique Worship Practices:
Kannappa’s devotion was considered unique as he offered the meat he hunted and even used water from his mouth to worship the Shiva lingam.
Symbolism:
Kannappa’s story is often interpreted as a representation of the highest level of devotion, where a devotee is willing to sacrifice anything for their deity.
